Following the success of the previous seven ABaCAS conferences, the 8th Air Benefit and Cost and Attainment Assessment Conference (ABaCAS 2020) will be held on November 2-4, 2020 in Guangzhou China. This conference will be hosted by Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, and U.S. University of Tennessee, organized jointly by School of Environment and Energy of South China University of Technology, State Environmental Protection Key Laboratory of Sources and Control of Air Pollution Complex of Tsinghua University, State Key Joint Laboratory of Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control, Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Zhuhai) with the support from Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Chinese Academy of Engineering and U.S. Energy Foundation. The Conference aims at providing a high-level platform for scientists or policymakers from various fields and disciplines to discuss the atmospheric management strategy key issues related to energy and environment city or area in China, and all over the world.
In addition to the two-day conference (November 3-4), a one-day training workshop (November 2) on the “Air Benefit and Cost and Attainment Assessment System (ABaCAS)” will also be provided to air quality managers and scientists of interest with demo and hands-on sessions on cutting-edge air quality management and assessment systems for China.
Affected by the epidemic situation of COVID-19, the 8th Conference will mainly be for domestic participants only.
